Echo of Angels

Sequel to ANGEL CITY, the author moulds memories from her long nursing career into the lives of her three characters.

Forty years had passed and so much had happened to Anya Corrigan from North Belfast, Mary McClafferty from Derry and Brigid McGorian from Donegal.

September 2018, booked into the new Grand Central Hotel, a trouble=free Belfast now sleeping below their bedroom window, was a very different place to when they began their nursing career in September 1975 in the workhouses of the City Hospital.  A time when three young girls forged a bond that would endure four decades.

Recounting their lives, loves and careers the one thing that remained a constant in their stories was their deep, unfaltering friendship which threaded its way through all their ups and downs like a colourful tapestry.
